Carolina Canners is excited to support events that bring music, culture, nonprofit support and more to area communities. Get ready for four days of band music and, of course, watermelon-focused activities like a watermelon-eating contest and the Watermelon Parade. Attendees will also have access to carnival rides, games, a flea market and classic fair food.

Where: Uptown Roxboro
Hosted by the Roxboro Area Chamber of Commerce, this 40th annual event is filled with amusement rides, street dancing and other forms of entertainment. Nearly 15,000 people are expected to attend.

This 36th annual festival brings local bands, contests and games, and local food vendors to River Park for two days of feasting and fun. Plus, don’t miss the BBQ cook-off. By attending, you’ll help support youth programs and services in Orange County.

Celebrate the social and economic significance of seafood in eastern North Carolina during this 32nd-annual festival. Throughout the weekend, enjoy local seafood, cooking demonstrations, live music and arts vendors. Proceeds from the festival support various participating community organizations.

Presented by Pepsi, this three-day event is all about indulgence. Stroll Main Street as you take in the aromas and tastes of more than 40 restaurants and 200 menu items. To add to the excitement, free entertainment will take over seven stages during this outdoor festival.

Where: Downtown New Bern
Bring your family for entertainment, exhibitors and food downtown and along the waterfront. There will be amusement rides, street performers, 5K and 1-mile races, a boat and RV show and more. Last year, PepsiCo supported the Kickoff Concert benefit that showcased country artists Dan + Shay, so ticket proceeds could go toward the New Bern Relief Fund. Be sure to attend this year’s Kickoff Concert as well.

Where: Downtown Florence, SC
Join more than 50,000 community members in experiencing live entertainment across multiple stages, art demonstrations and amusement rides. There will be 250 food and craft vendors on site, as well as competitions like chalk art and a cook-off. Feeling sporty? Sign up for a half marathon, 10K or 5K race, or look into bike ride options with a variety of distances.
