Pepsi shops for families in Raleigh

More than 50 volunteers took a trip to a Raleigh Walmart to tackle wish list needs for less fortunate families on Dec. 14. They shopped for household staples, like cleaning supplies, and personal wants, like holiday gifts.
This is somewhat of a holiday tradition — for years, hundreds of employees at Pepsi Bottling Ventures have gone to a Raleigh-area Walmart to make purchases for local families, using provided gift cards as well as their own donations.
This year, the volunteers walked out of the store with more than $10,000 in the form of gifts and supplies. They delivered the purchases to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, a nonprofit that works toward ending hunger in Raleigh. During the holiday season, families in two local communities received the items through the nonprofit.
For Pepsi, giving back to the Carolinas isn’t just a holiday effort. Join us in supporting Inter-Faith Food Shuttle by learning about volunteer opportunities and ways to donate to their mission of ending hunger here.
