Pepsi sponsored the 33rd annual Pepsi Carolina Classic to benefit the Florence, SC community and the Boys and Girls Club

The tournament, which brings area school communities together to cheer on their favorite high school basketball teams, took place Dec. 27-29 at the Florence Center. Jeff Stevens, the CEO of Carolina Canners, welcomed the attendees to the exciting occasion.

To add to the sentiment around the event, proceeds from tournament ticket sales supported The Boys & Girls Club. The nonprofit organization impacts the lives of 1,300 local children daily through after-school care, homework help, meals and positive mentorship. Through this program, Pepsi-Cola of Florence’s Pee Dee Food Service provides lunch for 650 students each day.
