To ignite the holiday spirit, Pepsi volunteers supported the Darlington Fire Department’s annual tasting event.

A smorgasbord of food and drink samples from local restaurants was laid out at First Baptist Church in Darlington, SC on Nov. 1 during “A Taste of Christmas.” Community members flocked to the family-friendly event and, for a small entry fee, got to experience the offerings.

Per tradition, the Darlington Fire Department used all of the proceeds to purchase toys and clothing for children in need during the holiday season. The department has served the city since 1880 and has a longstanding history of helping the local community.

In keeping with its own custom, Pepsi donated manpower as well as Pepsi products for guests to enjoy. What better time to give back to the Carolinas than during the festive holiday season?
