Pepsi helps provide event tickets to veterans

Empty seats should be filled with deserving spectators. That’s why we donate to Vet Tix, an organization that offers event tickets to active military, veterans and immediate family of troops killed in action. According to their mission, Vet Tix works to reduce stress, build family bonds and keep military connected with American life through these experiences.
“We support our troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences during and after their years of service to our country,” Vet Tix shared on their website.
The national organization sources tickets to concerts, performing arts shows, sporting events, educational events and family activities. All recipients have to do is sign up for the service online, request tickets for their preferred events and pay an affordable delivery fee. They can get up to four tickets for an event for $14.99 or less.
Pepsi’s 2018 donation supported the ticket process in the Carolinas. That year, nearly 2 million tickets were given to vets across America.
More recently, one U.S. Army veteran, Nycole, posted on the Vet Tix Facebook page about her chance to attend a Kelly Clarkson concert thanks to the organization. "There are no words to describe how amazing this Kelly Clarkson experience was,” she wrote. “My best friend and I attended the concert as a last-minute girl's trip.”
Another U.S. Army Veteran, Amanda, shared on the Facebook page about her opportunity to take her family to Disney on Ice. "I can’t thank the donors enough for allowing us to have such a wonderful experience with our children,” she wrote. “Disney on Ice did not disappoint and it was an amazing surprise to my daughter just a few days before her birthday.”
